The new 80 series tube bumper is now available. This bumper consists of 1.75" DOM tube with 1/4" plate winch cradle. It also has huge 1" thick recovery pull points that are not just welded onto the winch plate but have a bolt directly through them for superiour strength. This is a tough good looking bumper that will fit most remote solenoid winches.
The 80 series plate bumper was constucted with 1/4" material for the winch center section, 3/8" mounting brackets, and 3/16" material for the body and wings of the bumper. A 2x2x1/4 square tube was also added for supprt on the ends of the bumper along with numerous gussets. This bumper was designed to accept a HS9500i winch with the inegerated solenoid.
These are just a few designs; there are others availible along with other options, like adding tubing. I would be more than happy to discuss your own custom design or modify my design to suit your needs. This way we can build exactly to your taste and your rig. The new 100 series bumper was made stout and with great clearance. The center section is made of 1/4" plate with the side wings constructed out of 1.5"x .120" wall DOM tube. The side wings can be plated at no additional cost. The dual swing outs can be made modular to accomadate a variety of things from ladders to jerry can holders.
The 80 series bumper was constucted out of 1/4" plate for the entire middle section. The back and side-wing mounting brackets were fabricated out of 3/8 in material. The wings are constructed of 3/16" material. The reciver was integrated with 3/8" gusset and bottom plate. Inside supports for the reciever are availible. This reciever has not been rated for towing.
Several other options are availible such as tire/Jerry Can carriers. My tire carrier feature a roller bearing spindle, adjustable latch, spring pin to hold it open, high lift and antenna mounts and Delrin pads to prevent rattles. You may also choose to change the design or the materials the bumper is constructed from.
